TomGEM publication in Impact
Increasing project outreach, TomGEM has worked together with an editorial team resulting in a review article in the scientific journal Impact communicating the scientific, economic and societal impact of the project.
The three page article sets off with an interview with coordinator Mondher Bouzayen in which he discusses the key objectives and challenges of TomGEM and reveals what excites him most about the research. On the following pages the text gives a deeper insight into TomGEM´s holistic multi-actor approach to formulate new breeding and horticultural management strategies for harsher climates using the tomato as a model crop for fruit and vegetables.
The article is published in the latest edition of Impact, a journal dedicated to fostering open and collaborative science. The edition was distributed in printed and digital format in January 2017 and is available open access on IngentaConnect.
