International Summer School in Bordeaux

From July 15-30, 2017 fifteen graduate students from all over the world successfully completed the International Summer School organised in Bordeaux by the TomGEM partner institution University of Bordeaux in cooperation with the French National Institute for Agronomy (INRA).

Following the title of the summer school ““French Agriculture in Nouvelle-Aquitaine: from the laboratory to the field”,  the students from Japan, Thailand, Austria, the US, Malaysia and Singapore performed labworks, attended lectures and more importantly, visited farms involved in the agriculture in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, located in the South-West of France.

The Summer School was closely related to TomGEM project as the participants conducted lab teaching experiments about high temperature, tomato pollen and fruit development. The Summer School was again a great success and all students enjoyed their time in Bordeaux.
