6th International Conference “Agriculture & Food” in Bulgaria
Researchers from the Bulgarian partner institution Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute (MVCRI) presented results of the TomGEM project at the 6th International Conference “Agriculture & Food” which took place from June 20-24, 2018 in Elenite Bulgaria. The following poster presentations were made by MVCRI researchers:
- Prof. Galina Pevicharova “Impact of water deficit on sensory profile of tomato (Solanum lycopersicon L.) grown under hot summer conditions in Bulgaria”
- Prof. Daniela Ganeva “Evaluation of productivity and productivity compounds in tomato accessions grown under elevated temperatures and reduced irrigation”
- Prof. Stanislava Grozeva-Tileva “Influence of reduced irrigation on phenological and morphological characters of different tomato genotypes”
The event was organised jointly by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, Science & Education Foundation, Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops (Serbia) and Kazakh National Agrarian University. The purpose of this meeting was to bring together researchers and scientists with interests in agriculture, ecology and food production to address recent research results and to present and discuss their ideas, theories, technologies, systems, tools, applications, work in progress and experiences.
