Go East! TomGEM at the ICPM conference

The 4th International Conference on Plant Metabolism (ICPM 2017) will take place from July 16-20, 2017. The meeting venue will be the city of Dalian, which is a major seaport located in the Northeast of China.

ICPM was launched eight years ago with the ambition to investigate how plant research can help improving human nutrition and health. As invited speaker, TomGEM partner Dr Cathie Martin (JIC) will co-chair the session “Metabolite Transport and Metabolic Engineering” and will give a talk in a joint event with the TERPNET conference. The meeting programme includes plenary lectures, symposiums, poster sessions and other activities that allow sharing the latest progress in science and technology.

To maximise synergies, the ICPM 2017 will be held jointly with the 13th International Meeting on Biosynthesis, Function and Synthetic Biology of Isoprenoids (TERPNET) and the 6th International Meeting on Plant Cell Wall (PCWB). As there is significant overlap between the subjects of the three meetings, this provides a unique opportunity for making important connections to these related fields.
