Back to the future: Shaping R&I activities after 2020

The European Commission is organising the AgriResearch Conference to discuss agriculture research & innovation activities after 2020. Following the publication of the final Horizon 2020 work programme for 2018-2020, the dialogue on how to design future EU policies accelerates and the time has come to review the strategic approaches and to reflect on next steps.

The event is targeted at all actors and stakeholders who play a role in the design, implementation, dissemination and uptake of EU agricultural and rural R&I (scientists, farmers, rural communities, industry, advisors, policy-makers, citizens or NGO representatives). Besides being a great networking opportunity, participants are invited to have their say on how to shape the future of agriculture R&I after 2020.

Three good reasons to attend:

  • Learn about what's going on: the conference will showcase project examples and give an overview of the porfolio of activities cutting across several EU programmes.
  • Connect with your peers: the conference programme will provide plenty of networking opportunities around thematic corners, breaks or networking lunches and dinners.
  • Have your say: several opportunities will be provided for you to voice what you think is important for the future in speaking or in writing, in the sessions and via expression walls.

The event will take place in Brussels from May 02-03, 2018. The conference programme and registration link can be found on the organiser’s website. The event is free of charge and open to all.
